Voting and other difficulties....

Ich wußte schon warum ich mich solange davor gedrückt habe, vor diesem Post.

Clipfish finde ich einfach nicht Koscher, zuerst waren nicht alle unsere SuperSpots im Wettbewerb gelistet, und jetzt stellen meine neuen Freunde dort das Votingsystem im Minutentakt um. Hackts?

Nichtsdestotrotz, dürft ihr jetzt alle fleißig für uns Voten!
Also, einloggen, ankucken und gut benoten. Wer uns ne schlechte Note gibt, den besuche ich persönlich mit meinem Alubaseballschläger und wir diskutieren das dann in aller Ruhe.

We finally did it - 5to12

After spending the last week in the post production world (Gregor´s room with some computers), we managed to upload all the videos to clipfish.de. And also, we supported another group of ambitious filmmakers from Mittweida with some voiceover (click here). They also did a very good job with their advertisement spot for Schnee Weizen, shot on HD.

We would like to give you a short overview over our spots - with some explanation. The first one we uploaded was the Fissler spot. From idea to final cut it took us only one day. We call this a quick and dirty version. This description also fits for our Meggle spot. We all pushed our vitamin E level during that shoot. Another quick shot was the Fujicolor Photobook Spot - the idea was born with the arrival of my new computer which didn´t work. But before we sent it back - we used the little MacBook-baby as our protagonist. By the way - the photobook from Fuji, which we wanted to use in the first place didn´t arrive in time. That is why we improvised a little. The first shooting was for our New Yorker Spot (frequent readers know this already, thanks for following up), it was also the first one that we finished in post production. The spot that took most of our time is called Landpomeranze - just see for yourself. Our partner kreakollektiv posted the spot "Kinoabend" on clipfish.de - Another spot for a delicious perfume! Some of you might ask why we did all this. One answer could be: "Because we just don´t like to waste our lifetime sleeping." Another one could be: "Because we wanted to prove our friendship." And another one could be: "We love to experiment, to improve, to meet, to network and to win 25.000 Euros."

Mittweida is calling!

Mittweida - that is the town in Saxony, where we all used to study. And when someone from "MW" as we call it, contacts us, we are always reminded of how small this world actually is. Yesterday, someone from MW asked one of us, if it would be possible to do some voice-over for an advertising movie that has been produced for the Ehre und Karriere Competition. How funny is that! Let´s see if we can put all the rivalry aside ;-).

Meanwhile, we are almost through all the post-production. Still cutting out, still putting the virtual camera in place. Another good news: on clipfish.de you can already see our second Spot for New Yorker! click here

Feedback for everybody!

As it can be seen on one of the pictures of the last post, we always talk about what went wrong, what was better than the last time and so on after the shoot to improve. Now we want to give a feedback for everybody, especially because this blog seems to be widely read. The biggest thanks goes to our actors - Natascha who should actually be practising for her final exam at the Reduta Actors School on the following friday, and Dennis - former team member and now best understudy you can cast! Again with us was Miss Makeup Janina - Thank you!

Certainly the best thing at the last shoot - location and catering! We have been spoiled with home-baked currant buns for breakfast and homemade vegetarian lasagne for lunch - thanks to RJs Hotel Mama! Last but not least we can proudly announce that after three shoots we are still on friendly terms with each other! Let´s see how the post production goes!

Und weil wir schon wieder mal leicht drüber waren, haben wir uns gleich mit dem neuen Baby abgelichtet. Wir parieren so die Schwierigkeiten. Aber besser als Unmöglichkeiten. Schwierigkeiten sind doch ein Kinderspiel für uns, wo bliebe denn die Herausforderung wenn alles klappen würde, gelle?

And because we again we're a little over the edge, we got some funny pictures with our new baby! It's our way to handle some difficulties, thrown in our way like little stones.

Auch ein Fakt, was wäre es denn für ein Dreh, wenn wir wirklich alle ausgeschlafen wären, heute ab 9 Uhr am Set. Oder 8 Uhr? Immer diese Zeitumstellung. Gut jetzt aber, ist ja schon fast 2 Uhr. Oder 3 Uhr. Egal.
